About Us

In 2018, the days of care free dining ended for our family. After my celiac diagnosis, we committed to becoming a gluten free household. That means my cheese and Nutella loving French husband had to sacrifice his quest for the perfect bite. Grocery store Gluten Free breads became the staple and sad substitute in our beloved "tartines". It worked, but lacked the flavors and textures of traditional French baked goods. 

As the old adage says "necessity is the mother of invention", but what sparked our drive to create a truly authentic tasting gluten free baguette arose when we came across a collection of recipes from Pierre's Grandmother. And so we dove in, focusing on simple ingredients, meticulous technique and the science of baking to produce a whole line up of our favorite French bakes. We are so excited to share with not only those in the celiac & non-celiac gluten sensitive community, but anyone just looking for a great bread!
